Project Overview

British Builders was appointed to replace a deteriorated timber decking system at a residential property on Hulton Street, Salford. Scope of Work

Challenges & Solutions

• Rotten and unstable subframe – Fully removed and replaced with a stronger, pressure-treated structural framework to ensure long-term durability.
• Uneven ground beneath the old decking – Cleaned, levelled and prepared to provide a stable foundation for the new installation.
• Moisture retention issues – A slight fall and grooved decking boards were incorporated to promote efficient water run-off and reduce future maintenance needs.
