Project Overview
British Builders attended a property on Coronation Road, Birmingham to complete a coordinated package of general maintenance works across several areas of the home. The job included plumbing repairs, electrical works, bathroom improvements, appliance installation, furniture replacement and cleaning.
The photos show multiple completed areas, including the towel radiator, repaired socket, kitchen pipework, installed gas hob, shower area and cleaned carpets. The works were carried out as one wider maintenance visit to improve safety, functionality and presentation throughout the property.
Scope of Work
- Replaced waste pipework under the kitchen sink
- Repaired and secured the loose landing wall socket
- Replaced the divan bed in Room 2 with a like-for-like unit
- Installed a new gas hob in the kitchen and checked operation
- Installed a new chrome towel radiator in the bathroom
- Re-sealed and re-grouted the shower tile areas to improve waterproofing
- Cleaned carpets throughout the property, including stairs and bedroom areas
- Cleaned furniture and carried out upholstery cleaning where required
- Checked completed areas and left the property clean and tidy
Challenges & Solutions
- The works covered several rooms and trade types — The team organised the visit to complete plumbing, electrical, gas, bathroom and cleaning items efficiently.
- The kitchen required both pipework and appliance attention — Waste pipework was renewed under the sink, and the new gas hob was fitted and tested.
- The bathroom required functional and decorative improvement — A new towel radiator was installed, and the shower area was re-sealed and re-grouted to help prevent future water ingress.
- The property needed to be left ready for use — Carpets and furniture were cleaned after the repair works to improve the overall condition of the property.
Final Outcome
All agreed general works were completed across the property. The kitchen plumbing was renewed, the gas hob was installed, the loose electrical socket was replaced, the bathroom radiator and shower sealing works were completed, and the carpets and furniture were cleaned.
