Render Repair — Hollycroft Avenue, Wembley

Project Overview

British Builders attended a residential property on Hollycroft Avenue, Wembley, to complete external remedial works to the upper front elevation. The visible areas showed aged render, cracking, damaged decorative panel sections, and worn black fascia/timber detailing around the front bay and upper façade.

The works focused on repairing the damaged render, making good deteriorated sections, preparing the external surfaces, sanding down the black fascia and timber-effect areas shown in the photos, and repainting the repaired sections to improve the overall finish of the property frontage.

Scope of Work

• Inspected the external render, panel areas, fascia boards and black decorative timber sections.
• Checked visible cracks, loose surface areas, flaking paint and deteriorated sections around the upper front elevation.
• Removed loose, damaged and unstable material from the affected render areas.
• Cleaned and prepared the surfaces before repair works.
• Primed the necessary sections to support proper adhesion of repair materials and paint.
• Repaired the damaged render and blended it into the surrounding finish where possible.
• Made good around the vertical and horizontal decorative façade sections.

Challenges & Solutions
